    I have been considering switching to Linux for a very long time now, mainly for two reasons: I bought a high(ish) end laptop, which I am sort of satisfied with, and I am so very tired of it slowing down from viruses that I am about ready to throw it out a window. Especially since I have Trend Micro, which is supposed to be pretty good antivirus, and it has been thoroughly disappointing. Secondly, I want an OS that will not just go and change settings around on my computer without it specifically telling me to do it. I just think that I do not have the technical know-how to be efficient and productive in Linux in the same regards that I am in Windows.
